Product Overview
- New look, same cavity protection! Brush, rinse, spit; in the sink, kids’ll be able to see bits of food they may have missed. It's a fun routine with LISTERINE^® SMART RINSE^®, recommended for children aged six and older, and helps little ones form good habits. As an added bonus, its also validated by the Canadian Dental Association to protect against cavities.
Directions
- Children age 6 years and older: Rinse twice daily after brushing your teeth with toothpaste. TO OPEN! squeeze smooth areas on cap and turn. POUR! in a cup. RINSE! Vigorously swish 10 mL (2 teaspoonfuls) of rinse between your teeth for 1 minute and then spit out. Do not swallow. Replace cap promptly after use. Do not eat or drink for 30 minutes after rinsing. Instruct children under the age of 12 years in good rinsing habits (to minimize swallowing). Supervise children as necessary until capable of using without supervision. Children under the age of 6 years: consult a dentist or doctor. See product label for complete instructions.

- Stop use and ask dentist if oral irritation or any new symptoms occur. Keep out of reach of children under 6 years old. If more than used for rinsing is accidentally swallowed, get medical help or contact Poison Control Centre right away.
Other Information
- Store at 15 - 30°C. Cold temperatures may cloud this product. Its efficacy will not be affected. ;Do not use if printed band around cap is missing or broken.

The Listerine SmartRinse mint mouthwash is very gentle yet effective. The taste of the mint was not overpowering at all and it didn't cause our mouths to dry out. I like the smaller size as it makes it easier for the children to use on their own. It is perfect for children to use and I love that it contains fluoride to help prevent cavities.

It wasn't too strong and left our breath feeling clean and fresh. We have added this to our daily routine. My son uses this without complaining. I am confident that this product is safe and assists my family in receiving proper oral care. The only reason I scored 4 was because the cap is not as user friendly as others we have used. Also, the product was difficult to find. We had to check 4 stores before we found it. I definitely recommend this product, as long as you can find it!

I bought the listerine smart rinse for my kids to use after brushing to help prevent cavities and freshen their breath. We haven't used it too long yet, but so far is a great product. I was worried it may be too strong and the kids wouldn't be able to rinse their mouth out for the full 1 minute as required but it has a nice mild minty flavour. (I used the product to see taste) It just needs to be splashed around mouth for a minute and then spit out. A great addition to add you your kids oral care routine and give us parents a peace of mind that all areas of their mouth are getting cleaned. It's also alcohol free so don't have to worry too much if a bit of it gets swallowed. All in all I'd definitely recommend this product, and your kids will have fun splashing it around while it fights against cavities.

It can be difficult trying to find a mouthwash that a kid enjoys and doesn't have a strong bitter taste. I swear my kid could rinse forever. You might see what the mouthwash is rinsing out (tiny blobs of whatever is stuck on your teeth). It also did stained the tongue slightly so I'd watch out for that. Overall I would buy this again for my child. I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion.

This alcohol free, anti cavity fluoride rinse is perfect for kids and for the whole family. The mouthwash has no sting at all and leaves your mouth clean minty fresh. The appearance of the logo, the attractive font and the mighty strong tooth made it more attractive. My kids look forward to have strong clean teeth after each rinse. We strong recommend this product for everyone.

I've been selected for this mission to test Listerine Smart Rinse for children. Me and my family members tried it for a few days to give you honest review. It's really alcohol free, so it's safe for kids to use. We liked the taste after using it. It's minty, but it's not very strong, which I really liked. The smell is perfect. After using it, the teeth feel really clean, and I do believe it helps to prevent cavity. We used it 2 times a day. So far, it's the best product we tried among other mouthwashes. Recommend to buy it for your kids or even for yourself!! I'm really happy with this mission! So so satisfied! It's perfect! Recommend to try!!

They really love Listerine smart rinse. It has a nice flavour that is not too strong. It also does not contain alcohol. We tried Listerine Smart Rinse Mint flavour My daughter is 9 and doesn't like to use mouthwash because it burns, we are happy to say that this mouthwash is alcohol free and mint flavoured, so she got the fresh breath and a clean mouth without the burning sensation. My only issue was at Shoppers Drug Mart, this product is on the bottom shelf by the kids toothbrushes and it was behind a cardboard stand display so I had a hard time finding it. If i was at the store looking at mouth care products for my daughter i would never notice this product So go and look out for this specifically because we are very happy with it and will purchase again, my daughter is very happy with it!

First of all, the Listerine Smart Rinse is located within other children's items including toothbrushes; toothpastes; and flossers however nowhere on the bottle does it actually indicate the product is for use for kids. I do love the bright green color and the picture of the smiling tooth on the bottle and the fact it is mint flavoured. My girls aged eleven and nine, love to use mouthwash but get tired of the sweet bubblegum flavors so the Listerine Smart Rinse with the mint flavor is a nice change. My girls use the rinse after brushing and love that it is not too strong. Their mouths do not burn nor over the last week of usage have they developed any canker sores which sometimes occurs with other mouthwash products. With the mild strength, they are both able to swish for the alloted time of thirty seconds to a minute. When the rinse is spewed into the sink, they are excited to see the darker green pieces and food that the mouthwash catches from missed brushing. The only issue with the Listerine Smart Rinse is the pouring of liquid into the cap. It is a bit difficult to pour without spilling, even for the adults. The Listerine Smart Rinse contains fluoride which is an added bonus and also promises 2X better cavity protection than brushing alone. I love that there is a child proof cap and the smart rinse is alcohol free. There are so many positives to the Listerine Smart Rinse Mint flavoured mouthwash that it will definitely become the only product my girls use. Try it for yourself, you certainly will not be disappointed and your mouth and teeth will thank you.

I tried it first and found the flavour to be light and not too strong, and my mouth felt clean and tingly after. My 8 year old daughter tried it out as well and while she didn't have an issue using it, she said the aftertaste was a bit weird. Overall I felt good about letting my child use this and would buy it again.

I can't rave about this product enough! At first I wanted to make sure it wasn't going to be too strong for my kids so I tried it and to my surprise I fell in love with the product! I then got my kids to try it and it's become their absolute favourite mouthwash available! It provides that minty clean feeling but without the burn of adult mouth wash and it doesn't require any dilution! I love this product and would recommend it to all parents

I love that this mouthwash is mint flavoured - my kids REALLY love it! My daughters are absolutely a fan of this mouth wash - it's not too strong for them and they're typically really picky girls! I wish the bottle was a little bigger and was more convenient for kids to pour themselves (it has a child resistant package) but overall would recommend it to other parents!

Today I tried the Listerine Smart Rinse Mint. I was not sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised by the gently minty flavour. At first, especially after brushing with a toothpaste that has mouthwash in it, I was not sure that the mouthwash was going to be effective because it felt so gentle inside my mouth. I swished around, and was happy that it did not bring on the sharp feel that other brands (especially those with alcohol) sometimes have. The clean feeling lasted longer than brushing alone, so I think it was very effective. My only small criticism is that my children ofter brush before breakfast, just after waking up, and this product recommends no eating within 30 minutes of use. This is wonderful for before bed and could certainly be used after breakfast and before school in my house.

My 11 year son just tried Listerine Smart Rinse for the first time. He was super excited because he loves mint flavour. This mouthwash made for kids did not disappoint. He said the cup is a lid which has an indicator for how much to use. It is fairly easy to dispense and pour out on his own. The taste is not as minty as he expected but his breath after using says otherwise and is minty fresh! It's great that this rinse is alcohol-free, as it should be for a kids mouthwash. It helps prevent cavities, even in hard to reach places which is good because sometimes he doesn't get everywhere while brushing. It kills bacteria, bad breath and definitely freshens! I think we've found his new favourite mouthwash!

Myself and my daughter tried the mint flavor listerine smart rinse. This product is easy to use and comes in a eye appealing bottle. After trying this product we felt that it left our mouths clean and refreshing. I personally enjoyed the flavor and scent but unfortunately my daughter did not. She said that the mouth wash was the same as toothpaste, she is not a fan of mint flavor so that could be the issue. Overall this mouth wash is good and it left my daughter with nice smelling breath as she suffers bad from bad breath.

  Rated 2 out of 5 by GL432 from Love the rinse, but the new bottle is terrible! Listerine Smart Rinse is great, but the new updated bottle is horrible for kids! The old bottle had a pre-measured dosage where you just had to squeeze the bottle and let the liquid reach the 10 mL line. Then the kids could easily pour the pre-measured dosage into the cup without the fear of spillage. It also made them feel more independent. Why change this??? With the updated bottle, I now have to manually open the bottle for them and pour out the liquid into the cup myself. They are afraid of spilling out all the liquid. Why change the bottle if this was meant for kids?? This is just a mini version of the adult Listerine (without the alcohol). I'm sure you did not upgrade the bottle with kids in mind-- this is just unfortunate on an otherwise amazing oral rinse.

We are on a quarter left of a bottle and cannot find anymore anywhere! I’ve literally been looking for over a month. All stores are out of stock, I hope you guys didn’t discontinue these. If not, please send me some ASAP!! My kids teeth depend on you!

My son has used adult toothpaste since he could be trusted not to swallow toothpaste - regular mint flavors. This is the only mint flavored kid product that is readily available in stores. I have tried adult mint mouthwash with him, but it is still too strong for him to take without watering it down. Plus, my son loves the Avengers. Please keep this product in your line!

But after one month using, his teeth becomes yellow and yellow. I did some search and I guess it is because of fluoride. I am wondering if there is a fluoride free mouth wash product.
